Jamaa Mission Hospital

About Jamaa Mission Hospital

It is run by Sisters of Our Lady of Charity. It has grown from a humble beginning as a girl child facility and has now expanded to a fully 24 hour equivalent to a District hospital of level four rating.

It is well equipped with state of the art facilities, with over 40 qualified doctors, and over 50 nurses.  It has a bed capacity of 85 beds catering for maternity, paediatric, medical & surgical cases both male and female.

The hospital is open to the general public giving the required various health services, it is situated in Uhuru Estate, Eastlands area of Nairobi, six kilometres from the city centre.

The catchment area has a population of approximately 250,000 people with almost 25% of the sick people visiting the hospital.
